Glimpse Bhutan

• Upon your arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by our team with a traditional Bhutanese welcome, where a white silk scarf (khadar) is offered as a symbol of purity and a good start to your journey.  
• After a warm reception, the team will travel to Thimphu and help you check in a hotel. 
• After good rest, the tour starts with a visit to the Memorial Chorten, built in honor of Bhutan's third king and this site serves as a place for us to establish our purpose or intent for the entire journey.
• Next destination is the National Institute for Zorig Chusum, Bhutan’s traditional school of arts and crafts, where you can witness and participate in the mastery of the country's thirteen traditional arts and crafts. 
• Your cultural journey continues at the Authentic Bhutanese Handicrafts Market, where you can appreciate and purchase handcrafted souvenirs that reflect Bhutan's rich craft heritage. 
• If you’re interested, a visit to Tashichho Dzong, the majestic fortress and seat of Bhutan’s Head of State, is also on the agenda. 
• In the evening, you will have the opportunity to watch live demonstrations of Bhutan’s national sport, archery, often accompanied by traditional songs and dances. 
• To conclude your day, enjoy captivating performances of Bhutanese folk dances, masked dances (Cham), and music, immersing yourself in the vibrant cultural heritage, while enjoying Bhutanese dishes.

• Begin your second day with a visit to the Buddha Dordenma Statue, where you can take in the serene panoramic views of Thimphu and the surrounding valleys. 
• After the scenic view, travel back to Paro.
• On the way back, see the  Iron Chain Bridge at Tachog Lhakhang built by Thangtong Gyalpo,  wonder-working saint and engineer who is believed to be the first to use heavy iron chains.
• After arrival, visit the Rinpung Dzong, a stunning masterpiece of Bhutanese architecture that stands as a living monument to the nation’s cultural and spiritual heritage. For an authentic experience, consider wearing traditional Bhutanese attire while exploring this majestic fortress. 
• Next, head to Ta Dzong, originally built as a watchtower and now housing the National Museum of Bhutan, where you can learn about the country's rich history and art. 
• For a Village life experience, there is an option to stay at a farmhouse with a local family, where you can engage in daily farming activities and gain insights into traditional rural life. 
• End the day with a delightful farm-to-table experience, savoring authentic Bhutanese dishes like Ema Datshi (chili and cheese), Puta (buckwheat noodles), and Suja (butter tea) in a warm and welcoming local setting.

• Conclude your journey with a serene session of meditation and reflection at Kyichu Lhakhang, allowing yourself to connect deeply with the tranquil surroundings and the spiritual essence of Bhutan.
