1    Spring (March to May):

2  Autumn (September to November):

• Weather: Clear skies, cool temperatures (5°C to 20°C or 41°F to 68°F), and minimal rainfall.
• Highlights: Ideal for trekking, sightseeing, and attending festivals. The views of the Himalayas are spectacular during this time.

3  Winter (December to February):

• Weather: Cold
• Highlights: Fewer tourists, serene landscapes, and a chance to experience Bhutanese culture without crowds. Snowfall is possible, especially in higher areas.

4  Summer/Monsoon (June to August):

• Weather: Warm and rainy
• Highlights: The valleys are lush and vibrant, but trekking and outdoor activities may be hindered by rain. This is the least popular time to visit.

1. Altitude and Health:
   • Bumthang is at an altitude of around 2,600–4,000 meters (8,500–13,000 feet). Be cautious of altitude sickness, especially if you’re trekking.
